Traveling across Europe is many Americans’ dreams, whether it is backpacking through it, honeymooning in it, or spending an extended holiday immersed in it. The only time I was in Europe, I spent the whole time in ONE country: Greece. I may do the same thing if I ever go to Spain. The Globe Trekker series on PBS has shown me how distinct the different peoples of Spain are, from the Catalonians, Basques, Galicians and, of course, the Castellanos.
