OLPH 66th Annual OLPH Carnival

The 66th Annual OLPH Carnival is still eight months away in September, but the people of Santa Clarita deserve to know what is going on in their own community.

The carnival at the OLPH Campus in September 2010 highlights the multicultural population that is Santa Clarita with food booths serving Mexican, Italian, and American food.  Bands such as Mighty Cash Cats/Rhythm Rangers, The House Arrest Band, Sol y Arena Cumbia/Salsa Band, and Mariachi Loco del Valle Band will offer carnival attendees hours of entertainment.  The Battle of the Worship Bands will feature musical acts specializing in Christian-themed music.  For the teenagers, the Teen Zone includes “TechnoSpace”, a dance starting at 7PM (on 09/17 and 09/18 only) and features two mystery DJs.  The children will have hours of fun on an array of carnival rides, a merry-go-round, and a new and improved Kiddie Zone.  Entertainment is subject to change, so call Rick Montoya at 661.675.3140 or follow us on Twitter (@FlowerBlossoms) for more details.

The downward spiral of the economy since the last quarter of 2007  has taken away jobs and shuttered businesses across the country.  However, the economic cycle of growth and retraction does not mean that the economy moves indefinitely towards the latter.

Cinco de Mayo Festival

Community Event - Cinco de Mayo Festival at OLPH in SCV, California

Although Cinco de Mayo is just over a month away, that gives you plenty of time to get ready for the festivities and join in on some fun!
